The right-angle Clevis is a type of connecting fitting. As a commonly used connector in power grid renovation projects, it is designed to change the connection direction of the connected fittings or components by 90 degrees. It features flexible direction change and strong adaptability.

Generally, right-angle Clevises are manufactured by stamping and bending medium-thick multi-layer plates. According to their structural characteristics, they can also be processed from steel plates. For right-angle clevises with higher load ratings, ductile iron or cast steel may be used as the manufacturing material. Right-angle clevises are available in three main models: Type Z, Type ZS, and Type UB. As a key component of connecting fittings, they are made of hot-dip galvanized steel and function as bolt-assembled plate-shaped connectors. The primary role of a right-angle clevis is to connect and assemble insulators, suspension clamps, tension clamps, and protective fittings into suspension string sets or tension string sets. Though small in size, right-angle clevises play a crucial role in line construction, boasting flexible adjustability and strong adaptability.
